Bokvennen issue September 2010

The last portrait illustration i did was for the September 2010 issue of Bokvennen.

The portrait is by: Cecilie Løveid, the great dramatic, author and poet from Norway.

She also has a big passion for Cornish Rex cats.

Odina Design loves marimekko

No denial! Oda and Odina Design loves Marimekko.

Marimekko is without a doubt one of my biggest inspirations. I love how the brand still grows and still developes, but manages to be true to their original style. I visited their website the other day and i decided to join the Marimekko tribe by joining their autumn contest.

Take a picture of yourself with a marimekko print and win marimekko products worth 1,000 euros. Now that is something worth joining for!

This is my contribution. I collect marimekko homewares such as pillows, and tea/coffee cups. cant wait to get my hands on more stuff from this brand. Fingers crossed i win:)

Bula tee design from Odina Design

Almost 1,5 year ago i was asked to design some illustrations for the Norwegian clothing label Bula. This is what the Bula team came up with for their summer collection 2010. A surfer tee shirt with my illustrations.

I did some illustrations for the june issue of BOKVENNEN, a Norwegian published literary Magazine that was established in 1989 by Jan M. Claussen and is now the largest literary magazine with a circulation of 5,000 readers. You can visit their website and buy their issues here.

PULSE TRADE SHOW 2010

Thanks to Curate 4o, Odina Design and 11 other designers, could showcase some of our latest illustration and design prints at the Pulse trade show with great success. It was all about creating networks and to be noticed by retailers from the uk and abroad. An exciting learning experience for us at the studio. Next year Odina Design will have our stand with alot of new products and designs from wallpapers, postcard sets, prints, notebooks, to teatowels, so hope to see you next year 2011 at Pulse london.
